Here at the studio we've been right in the thick of busy wedding season (how did July end so fast??), assembling suites and wrapping up day of designs. We've had amazing opportunities of trying new things and working with brides who want to set their suites apart with unique details and popping elements (Immediately my mind wanders to this vintage equestrian suite with a handmade leather band that we completed this past spring).
In the midst of all the projects that fill our schedule, we were lucky enough to have the incredibly talented Cory Weber visit us last month and take some truly wonderful photos of our space. It was so much fun looking through all of these pictures and getting a fresh perspective of the place that we spend so much time creating in. It isn't often during the height of wedding season that we get the chance to reflect, look around us, (eat a prop scone...or two...or two and a half...) and appreciate all of the things we love about our studio.
From the different plants and flowers that always find a way to wander in from my Mom's garden or the local florist shop (many of which are used for inspiration for our watercolor florals), to my computer desk itself, which was once my parent's dining room table from my childhood! Having an eye like Cory's step into our studio and capture it the way he did makes us all the more excited to share these photos with you here.
Come on in!
Our studio itself is divided between two different desks. On one side, is the desk (once used as my parent's dining room table) where I edit all my artwork, respond to emails and place orders. On the opposite side of the studio is a set of desks where I sit down to paint all of my original watercolors, as well as where we assemble and package up all the suites when they're complete!
We strongly feel that being able to work in such a bright and open space lends a hand into the positive and creative energy we are able to bring to our business. We are so grateful to have been able to give you a glimpse into our studio, and to continue to working on our incredible lineup of projects and new endeavors.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
