On a stormy autumn day in the mountains of North Carolina, Sarah and Christopher said their vows surrounded by lush flowers and candlelight in the historic Grove Park Inn. The unpredictable weather didn't stop them from enjoying the day, and the misty showers actually added to the beauty of the rustic surroundings. Their event planner, Nicole Bloom of Two Sweet Sparrows did a beautiful job of creating a classically beautiful atmosphere that was accented with draping greenery, flickering candles, and thoughtful touches such as personalized gifts for each guest and a gorgeous sushi bar (yum!).
Sarah & Christopher's custom wedding invitation suite featured hand-lettered invitation wording, soft gray letterpress printing on double-thick cotton card stock, hand-painted watercolor floral designs, and hand-cut circular reception cards. Each suite was bound with a custom paper band, and was tucked inside an envelope featuring an emerald green envelope liner and hand-painted watercolor guest addressing. Their suite was one of the most intricate designs that I have created to date, and I couldn't be happier with the final result!
Congratulations Sarah & Christopher! Here's to many years of happiness to come!
Cheers,
Kristin
