Rachel and Casey's Dreamy Northern Michigan Wedding

Ok seriously, does it get any better than this???? I chose the above photo as the title shot for this post because I truly feel that it sums up how I felt about looking through these wedding photos. Happy, carefree, whimsical, fun, and bursting with a TON of love. My cheeks feel slightly sore from smiling so much.

Last October we were so lucky to begin working with Rachel on her custom wedding invitations. She was so warm and thoughtful and that truly shows in the aesthetic she chose for her wedding and invitations. From the color palette to the sweet watercolor venue illustrations, to the blush RSVP envelope that pops among hues of purple and blue, every detail from this suite was a dream to put together.

The foundation of this suite is anchored in it's wistful color palette, with everything from the venue illustration to the florals painted with delicate shades of lavender, dusty rose, green and blue. The reverse side of the invitation is printed with a large scale areal illustration of the reception venue, located on the shores of Lake Leelanau.

One of our favorite details from this suite was the custom blended periwinkle-violet watercolor calligraphy on the invitation. We paired it with a subtle dusty blush colored typography to make it feel sweetly romantic, without being over the top.

I mean....just LOOK at those Michigan cookies and Donut wall!!! If that isn't dreamy I just don't know what is...

See what I mean about cheeks being sore? You can't help but smile from ear to ear looking through these wedding photos.

A huge congratulations once again to Rachel and Casey. We are so fortunate to have been able to be a small part of their big day!
