Did you know that Sable & Gray does more than custom work for weddings? We love working on all kinds of unique projects for our clients. One of our favorite non-wedding projects is creating custom branding and logos for businesses. One of our recent favorites was the custom branding a logo design for Sabriye Jewelry. It was such a fun project! It's so refreshing to step away from weddings every now and again to use a different set of design skills.
I thought it would be fun to talk through a bit of the process when it comes to custom logo and design work because it is little different than weddings. The client wanted a timeless and elegant logo to match her exquisite custom jewels. We started first by creating a mood board with design elements, art, images and colors that reflected this vision. We worked on finding fonts that we felt would share the same glamorous yet timeless look the jewelry has. From there, we created a custom illustration and matched it with multiple logo variations and designs for the client to choose from.
The process was so much fun because the final product will represent the business and reflect what the brand and vision are as a whole. Being a part of that vision and process is so rewarding as an artist! We love stepping out of the wedding world from time to time and finding other inspiration!
