On a gorgeous summer day, on a lake-side lawn covered in dappled light, I sat with the incredible Sincerely, Ginger Weddings team and ate enchiladas while we laughed and talked about upcoming wedding details. It was one of those summer evenings that seemed surreal, almost like a memory even while it was happening; with the soft evening glow reflecting off the sparkling waves on Lake Leelanau.
It was the perfect setting for our styled photo shoot, organized by Rachel Moger of Sincerely, Ginger Weddings and photographed by the incredible Cory Weber of The Weber Photographers. The styled shoot, which took place at the beautiful Fountain Point Resort, featured a flowy, ethereal gown from Carol Hannah Bridal that had an effortless ease about it and a low-dipped back that was to die for. The model's boho-chic hair and makeup by Brenda Shuman of Onsite Bridal complimented the dress perfectly.
The styled table from Serradella Weddings was set with beautiful porcelain flatware and crisp white china from Wood + Cloth, and an intricate macrame table runner from Anthropologie. We had so much fun creating the hand-painted watercolor place cards and menu, featuring geometric copper foil details and hand-lettered type. And the beautiful cake created by Bella Dolce featured soft peach and pink hues that perfectly fit the romantic feel of the shoot.
The stunning flower arrangements by Bloom Floral Design beautifully accented the table setting, and their floating floral chandelier hanging above the table was just incredible! The bride's bouquet featured peonies, ranunculus, and tulips, all in shades of peach, pink and white, and was hand-tied with a white silk tassel.
The custom wedding invitation suite that we created for the shoot featured hand-painted watercolor details, geometric copper foil accents, and hand-lettered metallic copper text. The envelopes were a subtle blush shimmer paper with a copper envelope liner. I think this might be our favorite suite yet!
