I'm a Michigan-based calligrapher, designer, and watercolor artist who specializes in a classically elegant aesthetic. I've studied in person from some of the world's best, am humbled to hold a board seat with the Michigan Association of Calligraphers, and have addressed so many envelopes that I've long since lost count. Bringing your personal details to life for your special day is something I'm truly passionate about - being part of your wedding is an honor I don't take lightly. When I'm not working from my cozy and light-filled home studio, you can find me most likely cooking with my husband, puttering in the garden, or out on a walk with our two dogs.

With a fine arts degree in her back pocket, over eight years of calligraphy experience, and more ideas than she knows what to do with, Laura Joseph is a solar-powered designer enamored with translating love stories on paper. She’s the designer and founder of Paper & Honey®️, an heirloom wedding stationery and letterpress studio located in Michigan. Together with her husband Max and two rescue pups, they create meaningful paper for meaningful marriages (and laugh a whole lot while doing it). She believes in thick cotton paper, traveling whenever possible, ending the day with hot yoga, creating family heirlooms from day one, and in extraordinary stories that deserve a little permanent ink.

Ciarra is a talented calligrapher and illustrator with a penchant for natural colors and textures. She is experienced in working with fine materials and various printing methods to bring memorable stationery to life. Ciarra loves collaboration and enjoys working closely with wedding vendors and designers to ensure a stress-free process and cohesive wedding details from start to finish. Her design and print studio in Northern Michigan brings together the timeless craft of letterpress printing with an intentional approach to create unique stationery you can also feel good about.
